Achok Rinpoche, born 1976 in Eastern India, moved to New York to teach Buddhist principles to those willing to listen in the City.
Achok Rinpoche was recognized at the age of 6 as the reincarnation of Achok Rinpoche of Lithang. He studied ritual texts, philosophical studies and dialects until his graduation in 1998 at 22.
